With Joy and Felix, I went for a graceful, classy and elegant look through some refined posing.

Joy is a chef at a high end restaurant, and Felix is a pastor.

The word "posing" seems to be a taboo here in NZ, but I understand that my clients want and deserve the perfect shots.. and to achieve that, some extra directing is necessary to make the couple look as beautiful as possible.

Muriwai Beach is my favourite canvas for pre-wedding/engagement shoots in Auckland. I do come here quite often, but my finding is that each and every couple is unique and different, and their resulting photos are also unique and beautiful in their own way.

I think that doing portrait photography, is a bit like being a hair stylist - no one style fits all.
