Queenstown Tekapo & Mt Cook: The Ultimate New Zealand Pre-Wedding Shoot

Tommy is an old buddy of mine from Middle School and although he lives overseas now, he brought his beautiful fiance Wanyee to New Zealand for an Epic Pre-Wedding Photoshoot.

We toured around the most scenic parts of the South Island, starting in Queenstown and going through Wanaka, Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo and many other places in between. To top it off, we flew to Richardson Glacier in Mt Cook for some truly stunning wedding photos.

The black and white dress she wore contrasts nicely with the glacial ice and rocks in the background.

At night, the sky was clear enough for us to shoot under the Milkyway Galaxy. We were lucky enough that the gates of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tekapo were open that night, so we could take photos on the steps leading up to the church. The church gates have been closed for nearly 2 years now, so we were incredibly fortunate to be able to do so.
